Making things better.

I’m Simon. A scientist (analytical chemist) by education, with a passion for social justice and improving people’s lives.

I was born and grew up in Lancashire and returned here recently after a twenty year sabbatical in London. I’m a proud uncle and great uncle and alongside my consultancy work, I’m a school governor in a large high school.

I’ve been interested in technology for over forty years (and how things work - and might work better - for nearly fifty). Yes, I started early!

I’ve been fortunate to sit in some grand rooms (and on some grand committees) but I’m happiest when I’m solving problems and helping people and organisations resolve their challenges and reach their potential. Because what matters most is making things better for people - sometimes that’s tech, sometimes that’s a smarter way of doing something, sometimes it’s just a different way of thinking.

There’s almost always a solution - it might just not be where you’re looking right now.

But enough about me, you want to know if I can solve your problems or take your ideas to the next level?
